At St Francis Xavier’s College the spiritual life of our community is important to us. Our chaplain aims to provide:
- Emotional support: Offer a listening ear and provide guidance to students and staff who are struggling with personal, social, or academic issues.
- Spiritual guidance: Offer support and guidance to students and staff who are exploring questions of faith or seeking spiritual growth.
- Lead worship services: Responsible for leading religious services, including prayer groups, Bible studies, or other faith-based activities.
- Community outreach: Working with local faith communities to provide outreach and support to families in the school community.
Overall, the role of our school chaplaincy is to provide a caring, supportive presence within the school community, promoting a sense of belonging and connectedness.
